I recently built this outdoor bench for my mother-in-law. I purchased 2 identical headboards at an auction for $2 and decided to incorporate one of them into the bench for the back. Other than the selection of treated material, Lowe’s has a poor selection of outdoor lumber so the 4×4’s and 2×4’s are Birch, the seat and arm rests are Cedar. I bought (2) 4×4 solar caps and a couple flower hangers to give it a little style. Thanks for looking.

Very clever! Looks like a sturdy construction.

very cool bench. I like how you used the head back for the back. It is a great design and works well with the bench. The flower hangers also fit in nicely with the overall design. It shows good imagination and vision the way you have incorporated non-furniture related items into your project.
