Just some pine beetle kill ( OK, Blue Pine) slab wood and 1 by 12 scrap from around the shop. These are an easy project and I like to have one or two on hand as gifts. I’ve found that sealing the end grain with shellac really cuts down the number of coats of urethane needed to get the perfect finish.
