I made this for my sweety out of some Red Oak from the fire wood pile and some Walnut scraps. She wanted something fancy so I epoxyd piece of her junk jewelry to the handle.

This has a really nice heft to it! No, it has not been tested as a head whacker, yet. The ‘bling’ was provided by the recipient, so he is safe on that count. Yes, I am spoiled!
