Cherrry benches

I just made these for a client. Two matching cherry benches that fit under their bedroom windows. The drawers are cherry and poplar with hand cut dovetails.

Fine looking piece of workmanship.

I like the detail in the drawers.

Really nice pieces, Ray!

I like the match on the end panel in the middle photo. What’s the finish?

Those are really nice. I like the way the legs are exposed through the top. The pulls fit the piece perfectly

Ray, I love the simple design and excellent craftsmanship. Beyond that, your composition and execution of the photography is equally appealing. Nice job

BeechPilotBarry,
The finish is shellac, and wax, and a little time in the sun. I used a little boiled linseed oil just before applying the shellac.

Thanks,
Ray
