I think Japanise and scandinavian style has pretty much common.. simplicity and kind of peace. I wanted to have these sides for this project. Gary Wornell who is a inventor of this Japanise style paper https://www.facebook.com/EpsonJapaneseKozoPaperThin made all those printings which are really great! Doors frames are made from ash which is white waxed.

Beautifully designed and executed! The simplicity is more than elegant and it make the room look even larger and gives you complete access to the storage area. This is a great problem solver for ugly storage units and clutter.

I think that this client you commission you to make one of your “Round Lampshades”: http://lumberjocks.com/projects/88246#comment-1861216 to replace the ceiling lamp. A smaller version of course.
