The bench is made of cherry and stands 20 inches high and 4 ft. long. Letters were carved with the router then painted in. Two coats of polyurthane and one 2 lb. puppy complete the picture. The bench has gone to it’s new home but the puppy is still with me.

I agree – the router work is amazing.
The bench is gorgeous and is going to bring much joy to its new home!
and the puppy—yes, it’s pretty darned cute!! Someone else has a good hand with creating ;)

Great job, I’m finishing up a red oak bench with a back on it, but no routing, except to route in the legs. That lettering is very cool.
