Nice work bud. Just glad it’s not an OU sign.

Thanks guys. Left OU outta this one. Just proud of where I’m from and believe I live among some of the best people on earth.

Have to agree with you red. I live along the Oklahoma border. I came to Oklahoma to do some shopping one day. Spent quite a bit. Well because I was in another state and used my debit card for such a high amount it alerted my card company. They put a freeze on it to stop any further transactions. My family and I went out to eat and when we went to pay for it the cashier said I am sorry but your card was rejected. I told my wife I think its because we spent so much outa state. Well the card company had the wrong cell number listed and could not call us to verify purchases.

During this time there was a younger guy standing behind us. In his twenties. He heard what happened. Well my wife was starting to count out cash to pay for it and the young guy walked around us to pay when the cashier called him over. The guy handed the cashier his card and said put their bill on mine also. My wife looked at me and I looked at her dumbfounded! I said we can pay for it sir. He said no it’s not a problem at all.

I said thank you and I still feel like it was not enough. I have never seen such kindness. Just blew me away.

Gotta say. Because of the way Okies are I always choose to drive an hour away for shopping in Oklahoma. Otherwise I can choose to drive an hour away in my own state and I have to deal with what I will say less than pleasant foreigners.

I will never forget what that guy did thats for sure!!!
