I have never really looked at any of my projects and thought WOW! This turned out so well, I should take a few pics and post it on the internet so the whole world can marvel at my craftmanship. However this site has given me countless project ideas and helped me when I was stuck. So I figure I can get out the camera, take some pics and try to contribute. I give most projects like this to friends or family. I am not sure why I kept this one, but I use it to hold pencils. This is just a simple box out of Mahogany, Black Walnut and Cedar.

Yep, I like it. Is that an aromatic cedar you used?

it was aromatic cedar left over from some small shelves. I did not use b/c it was aromatic, I just had a few scraps that fit just right to form the top and bottom

I’m marveling at your craftsmanship! I would have kept that one, too.

Welcome to Lumberjocks! Your box looks great. I especially like the one-piece sliding tray. Keep up the postings.
