The bird house is made from a recycled pallet, scrap iron, an old saw handle and a bit of a branch. It’s an easy project to make that does not require too much skill. I like to do things like this from time to time to give a break from the intricate carving normally undertaken.

I have made up a pattern so I don’t have to measure anything now. Also mad a jig to cut the angles on the bandsaw. It is glued and nailed. I always drill the nail holes first to stop any splitting of the wood. Especially important with thin stock.
