Here is my Great Horned Owl Intarsia based upon the pattern by Kathy Wise.
The woods used are sycamore, aspen, wenge, walnut, yellowheart, cherry, ebony, lacewood, ebony and maple. It was finished with semi-gloss polyurethane.

Very, very nice.I love owls…...maybe just because it is so rare to see them. I wish I had a pet owl. Well done.
