Very cool. I’ve got a store-bought one but only has the lower tube and curved platform. I’ve toyed with the idea of making a taller one with more levels. What did you make the tubes from? Bending ply?

What a nice “double purpose” project—functional AND looks like a piece of art form. Cool

Actually the tubes were bought at Home Depot, they are the cardboard concrete forms that are made for QuikCrete. I just used .25” staples and bent them over after driving them thru the cardboard. I went to a local carpet store here in Columbus and bout the remnants for 25 cents each and I think the tube was $6.99 at HD. I have looked all over for one of these and they are so darned expensive I couldn’t see paying $100 for one this size.

Great use of available materials. I have a new kitty and a concrete form I am not using, so I might use it for the kitty.
God Bless,

Just picked up two young cats today… I can forsee we’ll be needing one of those in the very near future. What did you use for the substrate, concrete forms?
