Church Pew as I received it was busted up. I planed it down, cut it up and made this wine buffet. The plans (idea) are from WS mag but this is one piece and not modular pieces. You notice when I kick the wifes car out of the garrage I have a lot of room.

This is really a great design, and you did a wonderful job with the build and finish.

As one of those “church goin’ folks” myself, I find the use of the wood going from one form of communion to another simply wonderful! It’s a great piece of work. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely clean design, beautifully executed Grapevine. Here’s my church pew re-creation:

Nice outcome. But doesn’t anyone see the irony in taking something from a place that typically frowns on drinking and making it into a drinking aid? It, and that throne, could be considered sacrilegious. Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! You all ought to be ashamed of yourselves! lol

But you work looks good.

Dirtclod? your comment might be better in a blog, They do serve wine where I go to church, but not as a beverage…..It’s wood, wonderful wood.

God bless.
