I wonder about the different colors? Was it the different woods used or was it stained different colors?

Hello,
Thanks for looking at my project.
The wood is all poplar or birch. The color differences were achieved with the stain.

Thanks for taking a look, it was a fun and intimidating piece. it is very large. I had to take off the bedroom door to get it in there.

Fine work, but may I make a non-woodworking suggestion. The back of the unit needs many holes for venting the heat from the TV or you will significantly reduce the life of the TV. The electronics doesn’t like heat, but it generates a lot of it. Enjoy for many years to come.
