This is a key ring holder I was asked to make. They wanted their home state of WI as the focus. I had laminated some scraps together and cut out the state on the scroll saw. Glued that to a piece of scrap Adler and then used an Oak top bar to place the hooks. The base is made of the left over laminated piece that the state was cut from. Finished with some Shellac.

I recognize the outline of that state anywhere; I lived there while going to UW and later just across the border in Illinois for 27 years.

That is a nice key holder and I like the variation from the scrap glue up, much better than a single piece as it adds character.
