Here is a project I did as a gift for a neighbor. The project used walnut and oak, as with other projects I really like contrast in the pieces I create. Unfortunately, I do not have a lathe at this point, so the hanger pegs were just store bought maple pegs. The screw holes visible in the photos wer eventually filled with oak plugs to cover the screws. This is another project that I wish I would done several things differently, but the recipient was very happy so I can live with it.

That came out great!
.... and will surely be a prized and treasured possession!!
