I have had my Dust Deputy cyclone for quite some time but did not like the way they had you attach it to the shop vac. With limited floor space in my shop i like to expand up as much as possible. The hardest part of the project was getting a flat surface on top of the vac for the bucket. Once I got the PVC pipe leveled out the rest was just adding supports, place to wind up my cord (as the one the vac had was under the bucket) and a place to hang the hose. I like the way it works and i can drag it around the shop as if it were just the vac alone. The only thing i don’t like about it is the fact that i cannot fit it under my bench anymore.

Very creative I need to do the same thing. Its not too top heavy? Are the pipe fittings regular PVC or special size dust collection fittings?

It is a little top heavy but not bad at all. The wood i so stable even up high that i just drag it around by the frame. All of the PVC is standard 2”, if my memory serves me correctly.
