Trunk#4 is of course Beetle Kill Pine. It’s bigger than the others. A customer ordered one this size and I decided to cut 2 while I was doing it. It’s 48”x24”x22”. Lined with aromatic red cedar. Finished with 2 coats of tung oil and 5 coats of water based poly.

Thanks for reading and all comments are welcome

Monte, another winner. I’ve been needing a bench/trunk in my dining room to keep certain things in and I may build something along the lines of one of these trunks and just maybe some blackjack I brought home from OK will do the trick in about a year.

Sure to be a hit at Sturgis.

I hope that you sell ALL of your items except one….

You did another find job with this chest, Monte. I wonder if they would sell better to the bikers if you’d put an axle and a couple of wheels and it could be used as a side car. Just thinkin’ out loud again,

Winner Winner…! Just how big is your booth @ Sturgis, Monte? Not that it matters, it won’t be crowded for long!

Nice Monte. There are getting bigger and bigger. Soon they will be able to ship one of their motorcycles in it.

It’s a wonderful piece, Monte, and well done.
