i was commissioned to make this serving tray and was given artist privileges as to how i would like to do the wood layout, so the center piece is wild cherry then the rest is dogwood, walnut, red cedar and the drink rack i made is spalted oak, the rack is pinned on each end and can be easily removed, i sanded this down to 600 grit and then sprayed it with 5 coats of lacquer, im very pleased with how this turned out and i hope the customer will be also, thank you for your interest in my work and i appreciate any comments made, thank you, grizzman.

Bob, It’s good to see you posting work again. Hope this means you’re have better days and feel good enough to get back to the shop. I am pleased for you.

The tray is super, nice blending of colors, good design and as always with your projects, superb craftsmanship.

Just think what you could turn out if you had some good wood and knew what you were doing.

I hope this means that you are back in the shop Bob. Wonderful tray and I especially like the idea of having the pinned drinks rack. Very pretty and practical at the same time. I’m sure your customer will love this, who wouldn’t?
