First off, thanks to RS Woodworks for his awesome design.

This is a jewelery box made of zebrawood and ebony. The ebony was made from 8 pen blanks. The long stretchers on the bottom are two pen blanks connected on their end grain with a dowel.

Small box, about 4.5” x 7” x 4” tall. The top and bottom were made of 1/4” mdf, covered with shop-made zebrawood veneer.

Thanks for looking!

Nice. I like it a lot. Very innovative, but balanced design. Nice choice of woods and the interior works well.

That’s a nice looking box! I like the floating design, and how you used a spline from the box to attach it to the legs!

great looking box. nice design and a great combination of woods. I’ve got some zebra wood set aside for some future box projects and will certainly keep your box in mind as inspiration.

Love how the box rests on the cradel, almost like you could pick it up and carry it away

-- Norman - I never never make a mistake, I just change the design.
