This was my first attempt at a box. I purchased a set of earrings for my wife and wanted to showcase them, but wanted to convey the Tiffany Blue Box also.

It seems like it is much harder to work on small projects than large ones. Each joints accuracy is very magnified. Utilized a 4-corner match (my first time) and cut a groove the bottom for wood and a groove in the top for glass so you could see the Tiffany box. It did not turn out as great as I would have liked, but she liked it and that is what mattered. I did learn alot from the process.

Walnut finished in shellac.

Small boxes can be a total nightmare. People get closer to it to inspect it. You’ve done well. Good job.
