My wife and I are Navy. I left the service in 2013. But she is a medic currently stationed with the Marines. I like doing projects for the families that live around us. This is going to be a homecoming gift for my neighbor. Glad to have my drinkin’ buddy back. This is made from the lid of an old marine ammo crate he had in his garage. I stained the lid espresso and applied the EGA (that means “eagle, globe, and anchor…for those of you playing the home game) on top. Then a couple layers of white spray paint. Peeled of the stencil and gave it a few passes with some 220 on the jitterbug sander and a coat of clear. Should be a helluva surprise.
Thanks for looking. GO NAVY! BEST ARMY!
