A friend gave me some wormy chestnut from an old pig pen on his farm. The sides are chestnut, the bottoms are pine recycled from the bottom of the drawers of an old desk and the handles are old horse shoes. I attached the handles with horse shoe nails. I got the idea for the trays from Pintrest. The bottom one is from some old rough cut pine floor boards I pulled up from the attic above my woodshop. Total cost was about $5 bucks for 100 horse shoe nails from Tractor Supply.
