This! The uploaded pic. A local high school was getting rid of solid maple table tops and I happened to get in on some. These were made in the 70s out of 2-1/2” solid maple laminates. This center island top had to be taken down about 3/8” due to kids punishing them for all those years. I had to use a belt sander because there were quite a few nails at the surface. The finished piece was 8’ long by 4-1/2 wide. I laminated Brazilian cherry to go with the rest of the kitchen. You may want to check with local schools in your area because these were going to the dump! Thanks for looking!
