Made the box from cherry with walnut splines.

Beautiful! For us newbies could you include a little write up on the joinery you did? I love the way the sides, front and back angle in.

The box sides are just 45’s and after joining I cut the splines with a jig I have made for that purpose. After gluing and inserting the splines I turned the box over and cut the angles on the sides.
