Natural Edge Bowl

This is a little natural edge bowl from a pear tree my neighbor cut down last year.

It is about 5” high and 5” in diameter. After sanding to 800 grit, they were sealed with lacquer sealer, then got 6 costs of poly. After about a week of curing time I buffed them with the Beall system and finished with Renaissance wax.

This one is a gift to the fellow that gave me the wood.

What a great looking piece of wood and stunning craftsmanship.

I see you doing business with the wood owner for years to come. I would love to have a piece like that on my mantel.

Very nice turning, I’m sure your friend will be happy he gave you the wood.
