A few of my newest heart carvings

It started about 8 years ago. I was carving at a friends gallery and wood yard. I had gotten an order to do a big heart out of a sweet piece of Black Walnut. It turned out great. I tried talking my friend into having them for sale in the gallery and he sort of balked at the idea. Eventually I just went and made a few and they were a big hit. I made a ton of hearts there and they were very popular. I built a shop at home and started selling on etsy. Slowly I built a business out of it and now sell everything I make on etsy. I started selling at a flea market in 1978. I sold in arts and craft shows, gift shops in galleries, and had my own gallery for 16 years. Selling on etsy is the best it’s been for me. I sell a lot of hearts for the 5th Wood Wedding Anniversary Gift. I am very grateful for the wood connection that I have and that I am able to make these hearts fast enough to make a living at it. I do sell tree carvings, wizards and some fish as well.

Just sharing!

Thanks for sharing,

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, wiz. You have a lot of talent. Nice work.
