This was and is meant to be a template for a sofa /hallway table. Now I’m not to sure!
The top was inspired by Andy Needles riverstone table. I recalled seeing it for the first time and saying something like’’WOW’’.
After figuring out how to inlay the stones in a decent manner I thought that I would throw some legs on it and see where it would go. Floating tops have always caught my eye as well as a oriental lines so it went in that direction.
Materials are all Cedar with the exception of the legs that are Fir. Rocks are genuine Oyster River rocks!!!
Top and bottom slabs are finished with poly and the remainder was finished in Watco oil.
Measures aprox, 32”H x 57”L x 17”W(at slab)
All comments are welcome.

Great looking entry table! I like the floating top, the tapered legs, and the river rocks you embedded in the top!

I really like this table
I had to look at it twice though
My first thought was ?????
I’m getting slow, I had to go through all the pictures
to get it, then it popped
Brilliant design and use of timber/grain it really flows.
