Have you ever played "Go"?

Just wanted to see how little work I could put into building a Go board. This is a Chinese game that is around 5000 years old. One of the few board games I play but hard to find a player that is not online.
Made from scrap plywood. I was too lazy to pull out the table saw so I made the grooves with my RAS. They do not line up but it is more a proof of concept. Got the glass stones at the local arts and crafts store.

Lots of possibilities for those who want a custom board or travel case design.

Yes, I have played Go, but it has been many years ago. Nice looking board.

Most frustrating addiction I have. ADD and games of concentration do not mix.

I still have my board from Korea with the black and white beads. Some of them are chipped for slamming them too hard on the board, but that’s o.k….there’s plenty of extras in there. lol. Great job on it.

I never heard of this game until now. Sounds and looks interesting. Might be something good for the grandkids to get em away from their phones.
