This is a 25 Bar 2 Octave Black Walnut Student Xylophone. The keys came from Rockler. The frame & sound box are made of Figured American Black Walnut & it measures 24 inches wide by 12inches deep by 4 inches high. It has 1” wide bars are made from .075” thick steel. I made four Hammers & shaped my own handles. All the bars are labeled by note. It’s finished with Tung oil and I installed Rubber No-Mar Feet to protect furniture

Very nice! How do you mount the bars so they make sound? I have plans for building one.
