It is around 14”. I made the blade from a steel bar, that I had around. I cut it to 45, made it sharp and built the plane around it. I ran the bottom of the plane over a V groove, so I can use it for champhering. Works great. Only thing I would change would be to lower the angle of the blade.

I have it bevel up. Seems to be working better that way. This is the second one I made, and as soon as I finished, I was ready to make changes. This on works really well, though.
