In between projects while glue and varnish is drying, this is a little BS box for a friend who has a beach house made as an A frame. The house is right on the Gulf of Mexico near the town of Surfside. I’ve spent a lot of time there fishing and beer drinking. Thought he should have a box like the house. Face is Red Cedar and body is stacked scrap plywood to see what the effect would be. I kinda like it.
This box is 10” tall x 13” wide and 6 1/2” thick. No drawer pulls just 1/2” holes in the back to push the drawer out with a finger. Finish is just rattle-can poly. That edge grain plywood really soaked up the poly.
