This was a great project to work on. This Hi-Fi stand blends the beauty of wood with the industrial ruggedness of a reclaimed steel I-beam base that I designed. I had a welder weld it up for me and the top is designed to fit a high end Hi-Fi stereo system. Shelves are blind mortises and the mitered corners are done with biscuits. Let me know your thoughts and thanks for looking!

I like the idea of the stand using I beam. Is the timber mdf veneered or real walnut?

Cheers Les

Beautiful piece I really like the metal wood combo.

The grain on that walnut is awesome. I really like this stand. My TV would look real good on something like this. Nice work.
