Three end grain boards that I made for my Brother, Uncle, and a very good friend. They have all helped me through out my life. This was just a small thank you to all of them. I could not find the last picture of the two boards finished in mineral oil. The woods used were: African Mahogany, Black Walnut, Cherry, European Beach, Jarrah, Maple, Osage Orange, (200 year old) Pecan, Purple Heart, Tineo, and White Oak. Not all of the boards had every combination. I finished the boards in mineral oil. They are still fun to make.
While talking with my Uncle he told me he has a brand new 13” planer, still in the box. He is giving it to me. My father gave it to him. Wow, was all that I could say! Good friends and family. I will love them forever.

It is about family. Great work; great recognition of why we do what we do!

Great job, those patterns sort of make my eyes go funny but very nice, an end grain is on my list of to do projects!

I like the choice of wood. Definitely a fun build. Awesome pattern.

I’m a proud owner of one of these cutting boards and I have to say that pictures don’t do it justice. It’s just beautiful and to know what went into it makes me even prouder to own one. Thanks so much!
