i have been working on a technique for making hollow vases on the scroll saw These are not the concentric ring type that you see. these are much easier to make. With a little work they can look pretty convincing. they also have the advantage that its easy to do fretwork patterns on the vase. This picture are the eight i have made so far. Im working on an idea to make them waterproof so they can hold real flowers. Right now they obviously wont hold water.

Love these vases Steve. Looking forward to making them and I’d be very interested to hear how you will waterproof them.
