This is a music cabinet I built for a long time friend. He has Four Daughters and has commissioned Sheet Music Cabinets for three of them as Graduation Presents. The fourth is coming up in a few years. This cabinet is made from Sapele with a Hand machined Brass Pull in the form of a G-F Clef.

The piece comes in three sections-I may some day repeat this piece using the top and base as a stepstool or planter stand

The first two cabinets were commissioned in 2009 and were made in an Art Deco style

Alan,

You have incorporated so many lovely details in this exquisite piece! All these young ladies are really blessed to receive these cabinets.

I’ve spent this last week organizing my music into three cabinets and still have run out of room! I drew up a plan several years ago for a cabinet that I feel will be large enough to organize my music and hope that I’ll be able to complete it before I die! I spend all too much time searching for the piece I want, knowing I have it somewhere . . . but which book or sheet music?
