That's hilarious. Nice job. Are you going to add more weight to the blade assembly?

I am thinking about moving down to a 48 ring size instead of 52 on my Churchill's. Heck of a lot easier than cracking back into that steel blade assembly.

Three guys are on the platform and…
The first one goes to the guillotine, the blade drops but sticks just above his neck.
Executioner says "you've had enough of a scare… you may go free".
Next guy stick is head through the hole and down comes the blade and… stops just above his neck.
Executioner says "you've had enough of a scare… you may go free".
Third guy says "wait wait wait!, this is terrifying! I can't stand it!... just rub a little butter on the blade… it'll slide down just fine".

Problem solved :)

Cool project!

Nice work, I've always wanted one of these for making coleslaw (I don't smoke).

Neat little project. If you want it to cut a cigar, add more brass to the top and it will look like it is planned that way….............Jim

Excellent way to motivate the pets not to pee on the carpet.

That is really cool. If you build a life size one, I would like to volunteer my neighbor to be the first to try it out on. LOL

Wont quite cut a cigar, but I'll bet it'll take a heck of a bite out of your finger!

Yep, like I said it really does drop nice.

Took me a heck of a lot of time to get it to drop, but the blade is pretty heavy, 1/4" steel. I (sort of) hardened it, then sharpened it on my Tormek. their would be blood…...

Did they give the victims the option, to face looking up or face down, in the days after the revolution?
