Scroll Saw Mobile Base

Got a new-to-me scroll saw off CraigsList … pretty nice score. The guy included the stand, light, some blades and other extras, but I needed a way to move it around the shop easily.

I picked up a mobile base kit at Harbor Freight, built it to fit the saw’s stand, and added a platform for the foot pedal and an outlet strip.

I have almost the same setup as you, but off of e-Bay. But unlike my saw I do like how you racked your stand forward. I’ll have to go out in the shop to see if I can do the same to my DeWalt 788 Type-1. Thanks for the idea.

btw- the aftermarket lifters are a very nice and functional add-on. Below are two links to Steve Good’s review of the two most popular add-on lifters.
