American doll pencil post beds

In the blogs http://lumberjocks.com/jocks/PaBull/blog/series/1045 I showed a little of the construction of the beds for the doll of my two daughters dolls. My wife will take it from here and make all the bedding, quilts and drapes. These will be Christmas presents.

I measured an American doll bed from a friend and used the design from one of the FWW magazines:

Great job. The finish is particularly nice.

This is a nice job and I am sure the girls will love them.

But don’t forget about the guys as well. If you are going to make Christmas presents for the entire crew as well, you may have enough time to get it done. :)

And, of course, there is your wife as well. To me it looks as if your plate is full for the next two months. Have fun!!

Tom, thanks, and God bless you too, it is a great God we have.

Thanks Deb and MrT.

Charlie, the finish is tung oil and polyurethane.

Thanks, Scott. Just what I need, with the work on the house (trying to move in by Christmas) and you now telling what else I need to do before Christmas…lol
