Built this dresser for a spare bedroom we have. The wife wanted a smallish dresser to match a nightstand I had made a couple of years ago. It took about a month of on and off again work but I finally finished it yesterday. It is largely red oak with 1/2” poplar drawers with 1/4” plywood bottoms. I used a finger lap tablesaw jig to create the drawer corners.

Thanks DAC. Still not happy with the self centering drawer feature. Will have to wax the tracks a little in order to have the drawers pull in and out better (a problem when the drawers are wider than they are deep).

That looks nice. Will last you years and much better than store bought.
