This two piece bookshelf is made of mahogany with a bombe chest on the bottom (less the drawers at the moment), hand carved rosettes, hand carved finial, and hand carved fan in the top. The drawers will be dovetailed and all the carcass work is dovetailed. I know its not all the way done yet but I was pretty excited to share it with y’all!

Looks pretty good so far. Great carvings. I’ll be looking for the finished project.

Whooo-ha! Nice. A project I’ve always wanted to tackle. I’m trying to see how you did those sides, but can’t get the pic big enough. Lots of strips cut at various bevels? (And that’s a ridiculously clean workshop – there’s not even dust on the clock.)

Nice work, I don’t know how I missed all of your other projects, you defiantly have a talent.

Looks to be shaping up very nice. Close up pictures of your carvings would be helpful as the really look interesting.

P.S. Always great to see another black & green machine fan.

Alright I’ll post more pictures when I get finished (which has to be by the end of the month as it turns out). Also I have quite the collection of that black and green stuff.

This is going to be a really nice piece when you get done. Congratulations and welcome to Lumberjocks.
