My buddy had a large tree taken down and has given me several “projects” to work with some of the pieces. This is one such project. I belt sanded the surface first, to get it routable. The letters where easy enough, but I had to work harder on the anchor, since my router bits would not make the needed sharp anchor points. To resolve this, I was introduced to the world of carving, using a V chisel. Turned out pretty good. I then painted the routes and stained the entire thing for uniformity.
