Edinburgh Elm (made out of a tree from the Meadows park in Edinburgh with tree number and documents provided by the council) box, leather inside, marquetry horses.
Hinges and lock were supplied by Ian Hawthorne.
Inlay on top, top dome 4 sides chamfered.
Oil finish.

A wonderful box. I like the subtlety of having the beautiful marquetry inside the box cover. It will make the owner feel special that the marquetry is for their own exclusive pleasure.
