I saw a photo of this chest in a magazine and liked it so well i made one for myself, i didn’t copy it exact but close.
I used cherry and dyed it a little darker and used pine for the secondary wood. there are two false drawer fronts and a hinged lid, the drawer has hand cut half blind dovetails, the design on front is painted. The original had a single bead on the trim but i used two beads, i thought it looked better. It measures 181/2” high x 20” wide x 12” deep. This was a fun project to do and thanks for looking.

cool – I’ve never seen that style of cabinet before
the painting gives it a folk art element that is charming
well done
