Hello Fellow Lumberjocks!
Here are pictures of another of my birdhouse projects. This is a birdhouse in the form of a whitetail deer. I love building a birdhouse because it is such a blank canvas: It can take any shape the builder desires. As long as the house meets a few basic criteria (hole size, proper placement ect…) the birds don’t care what shape it is! This particular house was created using a Winfield Collection print. Winfield is a great source for unique birdhouse prints.
The house itself is made from MDO plywood and the shaped pieces that form the face and antlers are pine. It was finished with Rustoleum exterior paint.
Thanks for looking!
