Router Fence

This is a simple router fence I made to attach to the fence of my Rigid 3650 TS. This is the second one I have made, as I was not please with the dust collection of my first one. The first one had one 1.5” port on the back of the fence and just didn’t seem to be sufficient. The fence has DC from the top as well as as underneath, utilizing the Keen dust cup from their router DC kit (the only useful piece for 4” systems). When I’m not using the router, I plan on using the 2.5” hose for DC on the top of my TS, which seems to be a pain in regards to DC. The blade guard has a hole in it, which the end of my shop vac fits into perfectly!

The fence is adjustable and I created a little storage inside for wrenches, collars, bits and different zero clearances, as I feared I would lose these.

Overall the DC is 98% effective and perhaps the best in my shop! For the dust that’s missed, I simply remove the top hose and vacuum up the remainder.

Nice job on the fence bud, I know you’ve been at dust collection for a while so I’m glad things are coming together. Nice work!
