Have really wanted to start learning how to build furniture for a while, seems I am finding more and more that wood and everything around it is my real passion.

This is my first table, a Wormy Maple Mission Style Hall Table. Features mortise and tenon joints on all aprons, and dowel joints for all slat pieces between the top and bottom aprons on either end of the table. The legs have a small taper on the inside faces below the bottom aprons. Finished with tung oil.

Justin, that is very nice for your first table. In the future, you might consider designing with an odd number of spindles on each end since that would be more characteristic of mission style. I wish my first table looked as good as yours does.
