This was built from the Fine Woodworking plans for my niece’s wedding present. It forced me to learn A LOT, and I was fortunate to have the help of other lumberjocks when I screwed up the floating tenons (

Fun project – seemed like a great idea when I started it in December. It is made of hickory and ash. The finish is shellac inside and Spar urethane, tung oil, thinner blend outside.
