Basic serving tray made from resawn 3/4” walnut with mitered corners and finished with 2 coats of brushed on polyurethane. Did the resawing prior to having my planer so getting all the boards to the same thickness after sanding was a challenge, all said and done i’m happy with how it came out.

Sawing walnut to a uniform thickness is no easy task, let alone then sand walnut, thats one hard act to follow.
Brilliant result with the finish. it certainly brings out the timber features’
