Letter Opener

Project by brianinpa posted 416 days ago 329 views 0 times favorited 6 comments Add to Favorites Watch

Every time I finish a project, I seem to “lose” them to my wife. When visiting a WoodCraft store I picked up a couple items so I could make things to help me at work: I am an Office Manager at a book distribution center. My last project got diverted from my desk to my wife’s desk, but that worked out for the best.

I have some scrap pieces of walnut lying around the shop, so I am making my desk accessories out of walnut. This one is a simple letter opener, but it is my first turning of this type. It won’t be my last.

remember it’s nice to share, I’m sure your wife appreciates it. Keep up the good work.

But Kenn, the wife did not get this one.

You should make it a point to always make something for her first.

By the way, very nice.

Oh boy, now your hooked. It’s fun the do these types of projects. They’re simple but very unique and special and everyone admires them. Keep them coming.
