This was a fun project to put together for a friend’s farewell next week. The F-18 holder is oak with a few coats of General Finishes Arm-R-Seal. I was going to have laser engraved but the wife thought better to make a label for the wine bottle…..as Forest Gump would say….”so I did”. The glasses were a final added touch, one has the Maryland flag crab and the other is our warfare insignia (Navy Professional Aviation Maintenance Officer).

I’m hoping it will be a hit next week when we present it.

Super cool! I can hear that zipping over the skies just looking at this…

Any chance you sell these?? My dad is retiring from the navy after 35 years, in September and I thought this would be an AWESOME gift for my mom! Please, let me know if you’re willing to sell!

For the label, I used nice writing paper and applied using 50/50 Elmer’s glue and water. Make sure you post what you come up with, sounds interesting.
